Are you a seamstress without a long table and space to cut cloth? A painter with no room for an easel? or a canner or dyer with a too tiny kitchen? Or perhaps simply an artisan who is as risk of becoming a hermit, or a creative parent needing to knit your holiday presents away from prying eyes. If this sounds familiar, and you've been looking for a solution ~ we are here to support you!
Aside from periodic open studio times, we also rent 3 designated areas to provide a shared studio experience while keeping distinctly separate spaces for each artisan. This means you have all the space that you need, and possibly up to two other artisans creating nearby.
We have the Front Studio with long table and ample natural light from the large windows, the fully stocked Kitchen Studio with large marble island, deep ceramic sink, gas stove, and small fridge, and the Back Studio with an open space and 3 chaired consultation table. Each of these spaces is available for $25 per hour, 9am to 3pm, Wednesdays through Fridays. Some evenings are also available if no workshops have been booked.
Some specialty equipment such as spinning wheels, drop spindles, sewing machines, serger, floor loom, dye pots, easels and more may also be available. Check in with us and let us know what you need, and we will let you know if we have it!
